So i bought a "newish" boat this year. Its the "ish" that leads to the following problem.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered the problem of having to replace fiberglass boat lids on ranger boats. Thinking I would like to go to aluminum, anyone know a fabricator that can do this in wisconsin? I have not found much on the internet and this is a fairly active forum. Thanks to all.

Todd at Todds Boat and Prop repair in La Crosse does great work with either aluminum or stainless steel, only problem with him is he works at his own speed and a week to Todd is a month to most. Dean

I've had to replace a lot of screw in Rangers but not the actual lids.

I've replaced several items from my 89 ranger. If you can find the serial number on the boat and model number, you can call ranger and order a replacement lid. I've ordered windshields, upholstery, bearings, carpet etc over the years.
