Got burned on my last perch trip to Garden, so time to start looking in my "back yard." With the south wind Thursday night, my dad and I decided to check off of Saunder's Point and the Gladstone Campgrounds first. Marked virtually nothing from 37 feet right, up to the breakline. Motored up the narrows and finally started marking good numbers of fish in 40 to 45 FOW. We only got to fish for about an hour before the wind and the bite died off. We caught about 20 perch, keeping 10. Not great, but it's a start. Everything was on wigglers.
