Just wondering what you guys are using for jigging? Anyone try the new Nano ?

I use 6 and 8 # fire line, works great, feel everything happening, along with St Croirx rods.

Years ago i used the Fireline , but it was the like 3lb test and lost a really nice smallmouth up in Canada on a surface bait ,knot broke ought to have used heavier weight:p

I just go with 8# suffix. I find that the strength of the line, plus the flexibility of the hook on the reeves 1/8 oz jig, equals less reties for me. by the track record, fish don't seem to care.
