Limit...No Fun...Yes

Almost had my limit of whitefish. I didn't get it but I had GREAT day and a GREAT time. The first hour I was there I iced five whithfish and the rest came scattered through out the day. I ended up with ten whitefish and one burbot. The best part is I was trying a new spot that I never figured would have whitefish there. Ya just never know. I could look for miles in any direction and not see a person. GREAT

I was just telling my wife that I am going to smoke some whitefish this weekend! I might try a post brine soak in some red wine and brown sugar and maybe cherry smoke! What is your favorite way to do up your whitefish?

My whitefish are from Steurgon Bay. I took my dad out fishing. He had a hard time with the really light bite!
