It sure was a nice day to be out on the ice today. If you caught fish or you didn't catch it was still a nice day. I managed to catch a few fish today but the whitefish still aren't on the bite. I can't figure them out....Grrrrrrr They are there as I see them on Vexilar all the while I am fishing. It just wasn't meant to be...lol Here is a pic of the fished I iced today.

Hey tomjohn,

I would like your opinion on ice thickness and safety. I was looking at some maps and found a spot I would like to try. I really don't like fishing with the crowds in the community spots. Send me a pm if you don't want to say too much here.
