Last year the east side of the Chip was not as clear as it had been in years before when we went out around the Walleye opener. I figured it might have been a result of lots of rain and snow and run-off from the marshes for the past few years. With this winter not having much snow to melt, makes me wonder if the water may clear back up some? What do you think, Mr. Sennett?

Way to hard to tell. Usually late February and early March bring the most snow of the year so only time will tell. There is still a lot of ice up here. I had my truck out on the ice a few days ago and there was about 18 inches or more of ice. The days have been nice but the nights have been fairly cold so plenty of ice right now.

I'd love to see an early ice out but more importantly a warm stable May. May is the month that kind of dictates how the whole year is going to go.
