The slush has pretty much gone away and travel is the best since first ice on MOST lakes...some still have the real tough snow to travel through....almost like driving in loose sand or sugar.

Fishing is really pretty streaking right now....walleyes are using rocks, grass, mud....all over the map. Suckers and shiners are best under tip ups....real short feeding windows, with most action 1/2 hour prior to dark and a little after.

Pike are also showing up in some of these walleye haunts, but also somewhat consistant along weed edges and flats...larger shiners are still the best.

Panfish bite is picking up....late in the day or first light...weed edges and along cribs seem to be the best location right now as these fish are moving from deep water towards shallow bays that have weeds.

Just fished the last 2 days with Gillespie and we caught everything under the sun.....however it wasn't easy...tune in next Saturday..

Good Luck!
