I have a few of you asking about muskie fishing conditions. The smaller fish are in the bays the larger fish are moving out to the points and main lake structure. We haven't had many muskie fisher people in. It has been a tough bite. We have had hot weather to cold weather not consistant temperatures, the fish seem to be all over. Everyone is seeing a lot of fish this year, Muskie Bay Resort has had more fish caught on Crow Lake than on Lake of the Woods.

See you soon,

Thanks for the report Paul. This is good news. I am a firm believer that Muskies "moving" to main lake structure is a good time to fish. Why? Because moving Muskies are burning calories, and they gotta eat. Also, "new" fish will be showing up on the structures on any given day (or time of day). Sometimes, especially on Trout Water like Crow, this can be a great time to run into that fish of a lifetime. You just keep pounding, and good things will happen.

The only downside is that with Muskies moving around a lot, if you spot a big girl, you'll want to get her to eat then and there cause she may be gone the next day.

We'll see ya soon man. We'll try to call ya before we leave Saturday AM.
