I did a little better today on whitefish. I didn't get going till about 9:00 this morning and got set up by 10:00. I had my jig down for about a minute and jigged up a nice whitefish. I had four more by 1:00 and the bite shut down after that. I stayed till 5:00 and did hook into two more but they got off. I had a GREAT time.

My husband and I went out on Kate's Bay today. We caught 14 Perch within one and a half hours. Picture shows 13, but we had another Perch after the picture was taken. My husband caught the 12" Jumbo Perch. It was fun catching them during the Run!15560

goingfishing...Yes I am still fishing on BBDN. The ice in Kates Bay and Garden Bay is pretty safe.

Flyrodhoney.....That's a pretty nice mess of perch. It's fun when you get a nice run like that. It doesn't take long to catch a few sometimes.

How is the ice travel on BBDN? Snow depth? I have a cabin there but live down state. Coming up soon. Have a quad, deep snow has been a problem for me some years. Thanks for any info.

Their isn't much snow at all. You will not have trouble with snow.
The ice out of Katies Bay is 16inchs. You can drive a truck out. The ice over near Ogontz and south is not as good. I think its okay for a 4 wheeler but I would be more much more careful in that area. Always watch out for Pressure cracks.

Just finish fishing out of katies bay very slow today.
