Well I finally got out on the ice today for the first time. I didn't look good for quit awhile. I was hole hopping one right after another with out seeing a thing on my new Vexilar. I would fish for ten minutes or so at each stop. Finally in 17 fow I marked fish so I set up there. I fished there for the rest of the day which was only a couple hours. I managed to get 7 nice perch and releasing 6 or 8 small ones. I was useing a No 2 Swedish pimple Ice. I have good luck on the Pimples and sometimes I put a single hook dropper hook on and it really works well.
