Going to chase walleye tomorrow as a birthday present for my ex-guide partner and then musky trips on the 29th and 30th will finish off 2011 guide season. Good Luck to those who hit the water during X-mas vacation!

Thanks guys! We managed a few walleye but I think the larger fish were shut down during that cold front.

I decided to cancel my trip on the 29th due to the weather but yesterday's weather was awesome for late-December and so was the fishing.......we went 4 for 5 on the muskies (with the heaviest fish being lost after a few seconds) as well as a walleye and a very nice pike. That was likely the last trip of the season unless the weather for 1/7 is warm enough to do one more.

Congrats on the "musky double" the other day.....that barometer drop on 12/30 seemed to spark a few feeding windows for both of us.

Thanks. from reading reports, it looks like a lot of guys did well that day from all over the northeast. West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland guys all lit 'em up.
