We are headed up to Oak Orchard (NY) very soon and I need to purchase a new pair of winter wading boots to fit my 5mm waders. I have not had a pair of wading boots on for 3-4 years and decided to look into NY's law to see if they had any felt restrictions yet.

I see it coming to pa in the near future myself, i believe there are atleast 10-12 states that ban them now. I've went to rubber cleat wading boots with spikes. Great in mud, which felt was like a childs slip and slide on, and cleats dont stack the snow when winter fishing.
