Hey Everyone,
Just a heads up that the Jig It Ice Fishing tournament that's been so successful on the Bay is coming to Dickinson County this winter. The event will be held on Lake Antoine January 21st and the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Medical Care Access Coalition, which helps low income people without health insurance get access to medical treatment and medications. Two great causes to support!
More details will be out soon---our committee is still working out the logistics, but the date is set and prizes will range from a first place purse of several thousand dollars to ice augers, portable shacks, etc. Hope some of you will be able to put it on your calendars. Lots of perch in the lake, so we definitely shouldn't have any trouble getting fish in to register.
I'll post details as the event gets closer or you can get updates on the BBBS website. Thanks and hope to see you in January!
