Does anyone know of someone that does rod repair in the PGH airport area or
in the Western PA area?

If you're still looking for someone local, try calling Tackle Unlimited. They are the big tackle shop on 51 above the elizabeth bridge (south of pittsburgh). Look for the great white shark sticking out the front of the building. I've had them do reel repairs, but not rods. they were very reasonable with the reels and I was happy with the work. I sent a rod out last year to get a new tip and the guy did a great job for me, but the rod shipping cost more than the repair.
