Drenda and I left Friday and planned on 4 days of fishing but rain, wind and lightning changed our plans a little. We were only able to fish 2 half days. It was great seeing alot of our Canadian friends. Also some friends from our club also. Great bbq with the Hound and Anita on Saturday. Thanks goes out to Fisheye for keeping us all aware of the ever changing weather conditions. Kept alot of us safe.
Didn't have much problems with weeds and the fish were pretty cooperative. No giants but alot of fun. Drenda was dozing off up front and it was nice and quite, I was looking out the starboard side and a huge Sturgeon jumped clear out of the water about 30 feet from the side of the boat. It was about 60 inches and really beautiful to see. I have seen some do this before but never this close.
Always great to be up there. Planning another trip soon.
