I met Kevin along with his wife Kim, and daughter Christie from Middleton, Wi. at Petenwell County Park for a morning of trolling. We had the first fish before I even had the 3rd line in the water, a nice chunky white bass. The bite was a little spotty at times but we finished with 7 "shorties", 4 "keepers", 9 white bass, 3 catfish, 2 sheep head, 2 small mouth, and 1 northern, all returned to the lake. Photo in album.

What a great morning on Petenwell for Kim, Christie and me. The weather was outstanding and the fishing even better. We especially enjoyed having the entire flowage to ourselves. Thank you for reserving the lake for us. :)

As it was Kim's first fishing trip, it was nice (and educational) that we were able to boat 6 species of fish and watch Christie land a few big ones. That bonus Northern Pike at the end was really special.

I hope we can get out again soon!
