I have been really enjoying my time on water teaching a few younger, and experianced anglers the joys of fishing the past few days! On Delavan the bass and bluegills have been very consistent when you found the schools its good action depending on the time of day and weather conditions early and later in the day have been best most have been 15 to 18 inches with a few pushing 20 inches. The best depth was 13-16 ft of water working near the deepest weeds. Fishing a split shot rigged night crawler, large leeches, lindy rigged suckers and casting deep crankbaits and plastics. We are also picking up a few pike while working those depths. Lake Geneva northern pike and bass fishing has been picking up best presentation has been drop-shotting and lindy rigged suckers with good numbers and size of fish working the thermocline near deep water structure.

Take a kid fishing it may be the funniest time they have ever had!
