Hi everyone,

Guided Tom and his twin sons Mat and Mike for a full day today. Mike went for the morning and Mat went with for the afternoon session. All in all we caught a lot of fish. We caught a lake limit of 8 Walleyes keeping 7 between 14-16" and releasing a small one. Also caught a ton of Blugills keeping about 25, 3 Crappies and 3 Perch. Caught around a dozen SM Bass releasing all of them. Everything was caught on a jig and leech.

The weather was perfect all day. Heavy overcast with a few sprinkles at times and the air temps were very moderate. The sun never had a chance to come out and roast us. The wind was steady from the south all day. Not to much, just a good Walleye chop. Like I said, perfect weather.

We caught Walleyes in 5 different spots. The common denominator was wood. From mid depth to deep. We tried weeds but the Walleyes aren't there. Obviously the forage is in the deep wood.
Hope this will help anyone heading out. I'll be guiding a half day tommorow. Good luck fishing everyone.
