Was out all last week fishing mainly BSG. My fish finder conked out so I had to fish this "old school".
Musky---Deeper weed edges 11-14 FOW. Used Bucktails and Rubber Baits. Had action using a Musky Innovations Jimmy--cast onto shallower weeds then let it sink when you hit the weed edge.
Bass, Walleye, Pike-----Caught numerous fish using a simple black 1/8 oz jig head (yellow worked well, too) with a Jumbo Leech from Ray's. Morning, afternoon and evening--it did't really matter. Had some luck with Pike minnows fishing at dusk for northern pike. Fished the same weed edges as musky but found jumbo largemouth in much shallower--5 to 8 FOW in the weeds.
