I met Chad from Arena, Wi and his Father-In Law John at Petenwell County Park at 6 am. The weather map showed storms heading our way out of Minnesota, but we hoped we could get some time in before they arrived. Started trolling about 6:15 and the bite was pretty fast. It took me about 20 minutes to get all eight lines in the water. The rain started between 8:30 and 8:45, and by 9:00 it was a downpour with thunder and lightning. Needless to say, we had to pick-up and head for shore. We finished the day with 2 keepers, 23 "shorties". 9 white bass, and 2 sheep head. A lot of action for less than 3 hours of fishing.

Keep a tight line!!!
