This morning was an abbreviated trip lasting just 1 1/2 hours. Two of us fished weed edges, anchoring in 13 feet and casting light jigs with crawler pieces and working them slowly along. We caught 19 perch, keeping 10. We also landed/released several smallmouths, 3 walleyes, a sheephead, and losing several larger fish we did not get to see.
