Just got back from a 3 day getaway did do some musky fishing with what time away from the wife and friends allowed. Lots of nice weedgrowth coming in did get some dink bites on 6'' twitch baits in the morning. Some follows in the weeds on bucktails later in the afternoon, but not a lot more to speak of. Shifted to open water exclusively by sunday a couple nicer follows sunday nite but no bites. Saw some nice gills come in to camp and crappies were biting as well. walleye guys were fighting the bug hatch, but did clue us in to some porpoising muskies. Warmer temps this week should get the bite going but be sure to be versatile check out how those weeds are setting up but don't lock down in there if your not seeing fish go out into open water.
