Friday and Saturdays fishing action remained very good as all species were on a great bite. Friday morning was spent with my mother and we had a ball working weedy shorelines with slip bobbers rigged with single hook with 1/3rd crawler and we had a field day catching our limit of big crappie, bluegills, and jumbo perch. The perch were scattered, but the gills and crappies were in tight to shore and in the spawning mode as the ones I cleaned had not spawned yet. Largemouth and smallmouth were also on a great bite as we caught and released many of them. Great time spent with my mother. Saturday morning was spent walleye fishing with 3 friends and we had a clean sweep as we found our limits of very chunky eyes, one on a stump filled hump and the others came out of 7 feet of water on a sharp break where the eyes had a huge school of golden shinners surfacing and they still went for the Reeves jig with 1/2 crawlers.
