I had David and Joe out on the 16th. We fished the west and east side and the fishing was a little slow but we did manage to catch two muskies. Joe caught his first muskie and David caught his largest muskie ever. David's was Just shy of 38 inches and Joe's was a smaller one but it was a muskie none the less. David and Joe are a couple of college guys and they were awesome to fish with. Great guys that really know how to fish. I didn't have to do much teaching with them as they grew up bass fishing so they had an easy transfer over to muskie. We fished hard and covered some good water. They'll get some fish in the boat this week.

I had another trip in the evening and we had one fish hit a Pacemaker. That was Buzz's first muskie hit ever and you could tell. He set the hook and next thing the line was totally slack and the rod was behind his head. Funny to watch but the fish got off. We may have set a record for number of backlashes but we had fun.
