I had a four hour trip in the morning on the 8th and we lost one and had one other go around in the figure eight twice. I really thought that one was going to eat but not so much.
In the afternoon I had an eight hour trip with Bill Mundt that started at noon. We lost an upper thirty inch fish on a Slammer twitchbait. We meaning me. We had some other action on topwater and bucktails but nothing in the boat. After dinner we went after walleye for a couple hours and caught seven. We kept three 17 inchers for dinner and let the rest go. The largest was 21 inches. We had a lot of other hits, taps, bumps.........well lots of action anyway. Good way to end the walleye guiding for the year.
