Back out on Sunday and boy what a difference in weather and fishing action. Working areas that we worked on Saturday proved to be fruitless as we had bright sky's and just a slight breeze that would continually change. We did however find what we were looking for in 12 to 14 foot depths over and around submerged stumps as we vertical jigged 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with half crawlers. Working these stumps very slowly produced some very nice eyes along with some of the largest jumbo perch of the year so far in my boat.
Taking a few days off to avoid the heat, will keep you informed on next trip out.
