Monday evening the wind was crazy so I left the boat on the trailer and when to one of those areas that I talked about in an earlier report where the water was dumping in the lake from a heavy rain the night before. I ended up catching and releasing over 20 walleye and kept a 15 and a 17 and lost another big fish right at the bank. I'm still doing the best on minnows but leeches are starting to come on strong. Tuesday morning a customer and I went out to try trolling for some walleye, it's new to us here as it just became legal for trolling price county waters this spring. We pulled crawler harness with boards and had a couple long lines out. We did catch a few walleye, great search tool but with our waters I think a good old slip bobber and a leech or minnow will do just as good or better. We lost 2 bottom bouncers and a half dozen crawler harness to the wood monsters on the bittom of the lake.
