Had a great weekend fishing with my dad on the flowage. We started Saturday fishing with Don Pemble and had a productive & enjoyable day. Saturday & Monday presented different weather and wind conditions, but we still did well both days. Found Walleyes in 5-6' wood with 1/8 jig & minnow combo, and panfish in 12-13' also over wood with half a crawler. Tied into some jumbo perch and several incidental smallies, with several really nice ones. Overall, it was a very enjoyable weekend. I'll post a few pics tonight.

We also had a great weekend. Lots of jumbo bluegills, perch, and rockbass caught while fishing for walleyes in 20-25' of water with live bait.

Also caught smallmouth with ease...casting with Rapala's and using live bait in 13'-2' of water. The northern didn't disappoint either, although in typical Flambeau style, none were of significant size.

The walleyes were abundant but most were small. Our biggest was 17" and a couple of the guys in our group caught their limit of two. Boated 4 crappies- smallest was 12" and biggest was 13 1/2". One guy even caught two large bullheads near Rat Lake.

Overall- three boats, 7 guys, and 150-180 fish caught and kept or released for the weekend.

Saw a doe and two fawns swim from a point near the dam to the big island and also saw a family of 6 otters playing on a dyke.
