With the sun high and warm , and a little to much of the wind the water is warming nicely the past few days and the Delavan Lake Water temp is reaching 60 degrees. The largemouth bass are spawning the bite is getting good. The last past trips totals both had decent numbers caught 12-13 largemouth, 3 northern pike and 9 crappies in areas with new weed growth. The bass were caught in shallow bay areas in 3-4 ft of water. They were caught on Senkos and nightcrawlers. The pike were caught on slip bobbers in 10-11 ft of water. Had little time spent on crappies the ones we did find got them them on small plastic twister tails and tube jigs casting along the dropoffs out from the bays. With this warmer water temps. the bites are only going to be getting better
