Lake Wingra

Has anyone trip Lake Wingra this year? I am looking into shore fishing their for my 12 and 7 year olds who are very motivated to get their first muskies. Any advice on where to shore fish Lake Wingra?
Any better places for the kids to have a chance at a Muskie?

Have not been to Wingra in a few years, but I use to have luck on the lake side of the dam....about 100-200 yards or so before it. Right across from the parking lot for the Zoo....Good luck !
