Not as windy today, but still very cold at sunrise. Our fish from Sunday were gone (not unusual for shallow fish), so we started jigging and slip floating in and near the Esc. River. We slowly built a catch of five keeper walleyes and four small pike (released). The current is really ripping and we used 1/4 ounce jigs where we usually use 1/8 oz. Good things to come with slightly warmer water.
