Got out for a couple of hours last night with no luck. Fished a jig minnow combo in 13 FOW and then tried drifting over sunken bogs. The water temp was at 53 at about 7-8pm. Big storm last night with a lot of lighting and thunder and forcast does not look to good in the next couple of days. Always heard that the fish will not bite as much after thunder storms but you never know.

Good luck fishing.

Hi JJ,

Thanks for your report. It's been tough love all over. Good news is that the Walleyes should start to feed heavy pretty soon.

Good luck to all fishing Treeland's 27th running of the Treeland Walleye challenge. I won the very first one they held 27 years ago. In 4 years of fishing it, I took
1-first place
1second place &
2-third place finishes.

Then I stopped fishing it. It is a very fun tourny run by super people. It is designed for family involvement. A very cool concept. Everyone has fun. Again, good luck to all contestants.
