Does anyone know what the outcome was of today's court appearance for the jensen brothers? Are they getting off scot free or what?

The Jensen's are still going to trial. Today's hearing was to help determine which court they would be tried in.
I'm no lawyer, but this is what I took away from this hearing -
The Tribe's argument is that since the Jensen's were selling illegal fish, it was a violation of Tribal fishing regulations, and they should be tried in Tribal Court.
The State is arguing that "fishing activities" are activities that take place on water or ice. Once the fish are onshore and being sold, it's no longer "fishing activity." Since there were no regulations against one tribal member selling illegal fish to another member, (apparently there is, now,) it falls to the state to prosecute.
The Judge is reviewing all the information. There probably won't be a decision until after May 10th. Everything is on hold until then.
