Hey guys when I caught this one opening day of walleye season it was a great suprise to go along with my first limit of walleye for 2010. However I assumed it was a brown but the more I look at it I tend to think it could be a steelie. Let me know what you think it is.

It's got that typical "football brown" build, but all the fine spots on the body and the entire tail, along with the slight pink coloration along the lateral line, says rainbow/steelhead to me.

Wish I could see the inside of the mouth. Looks like a salmon to me. White jaw suggests a coho, though. Pretty good size for a coho though, odds would make it a king. How long was it? Any other pictures?

Agree with Chris. Looks like a steelhead to me.

I have it on good authority that it is indeed a steelhead and a female if you wanted to know.
