River is Wide Open

The river has openned up. You can put in at the marina. However with the high flows coming in from the streams and crow creek, it has gotten the river a little muddy. Most fishing is still being done from Crow Creek to the dam. With most of our snow gone, and hopefully not much moisture, this should clear up in a few days.

Fishing was fairly good over the weekend. Very nice size fish!!

Had the bite moved down river or is most the fish still being caught up at the dam?


The bite is getting better through the entire area. There were limits caught from Chamberlain to the dam over the weekend.
