Heading your way in a couple days. How is the ice? Any advice?

Ice is good right now, though as always now that we have had this warmup, one will need to be careful to understand which mode of transportation will keep you the safest. In most cases 20-24" of ice are on area lakes and as of last nights travels, top layer was barely being dented by the truck tires while driving. I do not know what the temps got to today, but plan on being out this p.m. and if I do, will get back to you regarding. As always, current area must be treated differently as the Thorofare 'tween Minocqua and Tomahawk is wide open!!!

Just looking for a St. Germain ice report....specifically Lost Lake. Coming up next Tuesday to do the Spring chores and would love to put the pier in. Any report would be appreciated. Thanks.

Lost is about 1/2 gone....hopefully it'll be gone by then.
