Scuba Diving

Have any of you guys ever tried scuba diving in rivers? I think it would be really cool and educational.

Apparently, smallmouth bass are fearless of men in scuba gear.

Sorry, I don't know anything about scuba diving but I just had to say that was one of the craziest and coolest things I've seen. I've seen plenty of videos of people feeding fish by hand, but that was just too cool seeing those bass come cruising in after a rock was turned to see what was available to snack on!!

I don't know much about doing it, but I did bump into a guy in the finger lakes last summer while I was fishing who was diving not too far from our boat and he said he had several 4-5 lb smallies swimming within an arms reach of him, kinda makes you want to try spearfishing

I just thought the same thing yesterday about a "like" button.

I'd like to dive to the bottom of Layton and see what's lurking down there. If nothing else, scare the heck out of the women at the rope swing ;)

They are rather fearless fish. I do a couple trips a year in waders here in CT, and they'll swim back and forth between your legs while you're standing there trying to catch their family members, lol. I've actually had a couple that i've unhooked and had hang out with me for a minute or two afterward.
