A big thank you to the guys from Wisconsin who pulled my truck out of the drift on the upper bay this morning.
And let that be a lesson to others: while the going is pretty good overall out there, you can still hit a big drift here and there and (yes) even get stuck with your 4-wheel drive if you're not careful. Make sure you're packing for just such an occasion--either to dig yourself out or help your fellow ice fisherman.
