Walleye fishing has been pretty consistant since my last report. The fish are still working the deep weed edges verses up on top of the humps that I am fishing. All the walleye that I have been catching are all the same size 17" to 19" males and all released.

Crappie fising has been outstanding with many limits being pulled out. The best areas are off of West shore off of the first drop off in like 7' tp 10' and out in Cecil Bay. Most guys are fishing in there shack using rattle reels tipped with small rosy reds.

Fishing should start to pick up come Febraury so get out and have some fun with it.

Also don't forget about the Walleyes for Tomorrow meeting this Saturday at the Launching Pad 5pm come out and support.

Also still have a couple of opening for February, give me a call to plan a Shawano Lake walleye trip. Remember guide supplies meals and all equipment.

Good Luck

Josh
