Hi everyone,
I'll be out this weekend, but every report I've seen and all the people I've talked to have said that we now have a solid base of ice with just a little snow covering it. We just got about 2 inches of snow, but that should actually help getting around. Everyone I talked to did say that it is very slippery and if you have ice creepers, wear them.
The ice thickness I've heard of vary's between 10-14". Good enough for ATV's and sleds, but I wouldn't recommend driving any vehicle out there yet. Even with ATVs and sleds, be sure of where you're going and know the lake. If any quesstion, don't go over it.
