Hi guys, My father and I are planning on taking a run over later today and was wondering if there has been quads on the ice yet? We usually launch from the Day's access. I was planning on taking the 4 wheeler but just want to make sure before I do so since I'm driving from I.M. and also wanted to know if there are any pressure cracks that may pose any major threat.

No problems getting around on quads and sleds. Stay away from the usual trouble spots, (river mouths, Saunder's Point, north side of Butler's Island,) and you should be OK. Generally hearing there's 6 to 8 inches of ice on the upper bay.
