Ice Leader Update

Well my short but sweet ice season started today and we put the new Ice Leaders to the test right away. Luckily i was joined by Pete K. with his hot hand or should I say hot tip up, and iced a couple pike and a nice largemouth bass on the new Ice Leaders. The Gills kept our time occupied in between flags so we didnt have too much down time. Were hoping to head out tomorrow to see if we can get a few more.

We had a decent day today with the Tip up leaders for pike, if we were keepin instead of releasin we would have been able to punch our meal ticket! We also got into some nice crappies in the am as well. Fun day!

Added another nice Stealth bass to the total today.

The New Ice leaders have been doing well for us however our Tip up bite has slowed the past few days. Weve been concentrating more on the gills and crappie with the lack of pike showing themselves. Hoping to squeeze a few more days in this week before the 40s and rain hit on friday.
