Shallow waters are icing fast with this cold weather the past week. We have been on Lake Delavan's inlet at lake lawn, monona bay and all have been producing gills. We have been out with a few guys on the shallows along the southern end of Delavan and we are icing gill's the past week on 2 to 3 inches. Talked to a few guys in close near the inlet on Delavan lake they reported 2-3 inches they where having success with bluegill, crappies on crappie minnows and a few bass/walleyes. Reports of a few guys working walleyes and crappies in the shallow bays of Lake Koshkonong. Most of our best ice fishing spots are only a short walk from your auto right know and we have obtained some private parking for easy ice access to some areas.
Never fish alone and use a spud bar to test the ice ahead. We carry life picks and PFD float device with a long rope tied to it. Call us about booking your trip soon.
