Launched outta kipling this morning first time launching without a dock. Gotta say its almost, no it is way easier. Granted I was in my 14'er but still. Fished east bank near Vagabond and landed a 29" 9lber, a 24", and an 18"er that we dragged around the bay for who knows how long due to frozen line stuck to the eyelets. Water was 34 degrees. And the two bigger fish came on large purple taildancers which confused me due to the water being really stained. The small one hit a deep husky jerk in clown. Forgot to add that I was fishing with my brother in law who is home from the Marines and was married on mon. at the ripe ol age of 19. He got to pull in the 9lber today and it was his biggest walleye yet. Was hoping to get him a mounter to take back to San Diego but he will be home again at the end of the month for xmas so maybe then...
