Warm temps and rain over the weekend and Monday put a hurt on the ice conditions. Some areas of lakes actually opened up again. Now we're back in the freezing mode but I still advise EXTREME caution for anyone looking to get out on the ice. Know where you're going and proceed very carefully. Most areas the ice is only a couple inches thick. I did have a report of a guy trying to use his 4 wheeler and it ended badly. The forecast is for continued low temps so things should get better but again, it's very iffy out there so use your head and watch where you're going. I'm staying off at least till the weekend.
