Hi everyone,

Here's the chilly forecast for the opener.

Friday Night...Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows 11 to 16. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.


Saturday...Decreasing clouds. Highs 25 to 30. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday Night...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow. Lows 20 to 25.

Sunday...Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of light rain or snow. Highs 33 to 38.
Sunday Night...Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of light rain or snow. Lows 20 to 25.

Monday...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow. Highs 27 to 32.
Monday Night...Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of light snow. Lows 12 to 17.

Tuesday...Partly sunny. Highs 23 to 28.

Tuesday Night...Partly cloudy. Lows 5 to 10. Highs 23 to 28.

Wednesday...Partly cloudy. Lows 5 to 10. Highs 23 to 28.

Good luck on the hunt everyone and please be safe. I'm hoping that the cold temps freeze the bays and coves on the Big Chip so I can do some ice fishing for Walleyes. Anybody shooting a big buck, if you would like to share, post your picture here.
