Hi everyone,

Well the Walleyes are not exactly setting the world on fire . Not on the Chippewa Flowage anyway. But the Crappies and the Perch are cooperating. Not even fishing for the panfish and still catching quite the number of them. And size too.10"-12" inch Perch and 10"-12" Crappies. Still catching a few Walleyes, but most are small.

On Saturday I guided Rob and his dad for a half day. Caught mostly nice Crappie and perch with a nice Walleye. Spent half of the half day fishing for Musky. Rob wanted to learn some new Musky spots. we trailed a sucker while Rob beat the water to a froth. but no action there, so it was back to Walleye fishing. At least Rob learned some new Musky spots. He had never been on that part of the Big Chip before.

On Sungay I fished by myself in the wind and the rain.Well it wasn't to windy, but it rained all day. Caught bigger Perch than Walleyes and just a few Crappies. Did get home in time to watch the Packers beat the vi-queens but!! So it was a good day.

For a complete report on both days, visit my website at www.walleyemaxx.com.

Good luck fishing everyone.

Hi everyone,

I would just like to post a warning to anyone coming to the Big Chip. The weather will be dangerous for Oct. 26th-28th. High winds with cold temps. Call before you make the trip.
