ok well let me clarify. I have a Lowrance digital for ice now. I know some use there LMS finders on the ice and love it. Was really wondering if anyone has tried the high def. And how they like it. Sorry for the confusion and thanx for the reply. ;-)

I have a friend who uses the HDS 5 for ice fishing in North Dakota, and up at Winnepeg, so cold must not bother them. He is very happy with it, uses the full-screen GPS on the sled to get to his spots, switches to depth finder function for fishing
