The past week has brought some really really nice weather with sunny warm weather and low winds. The water is still mid to low 60's so many species are not in there normal fall patterns. We are catching bass in shallow water along shore in 5 - 6 ft best is near boat docks and in the weeds. They have started to school up more on main lake points & humps. Walleyes are starting to bite with good numbers and pretty good size. Lindy rigged crawler/minnows or trolling bottom bouncers/tommy harris spinners or deep diving crankbaits along the weedline in 16 -18 ft of water. Northern Pike has been slow the few fish I'm catching have come while casting drifting suckers and crankbaits. I have ran into a few guys coming off Lake Geneva with a cooler almost full of nice sized perch. They report really good perch caught on small fathead minnows in 8-10 ft of water along the north shore from Knollwood pt.
