Hello Everyone, this is Catch em Cat here from Aquatic Arts Fishin Pro Shop in Tomahawk Wisconsin with a very overdue fishing report lol. Water temps have been on the rise again these past couple of days, which seemed to slow the bite of the Muskies and Pike. But, this recent forecasted cold front is gonna snap these fish back into action! Walleyes have been biting great out here on the area river systems. Orange Lead head jigs with a 3" chartreuse Yum tail have been working superb below the area dams! Simply cast into the current below the dams, and slowly twitch your jig off from the rocks, retrieving it slowly back into the shore. This is a very simple method of fall walleye fishing. Muskies can be found off the deep weed edges around and also in deeper pockets near bridges, trestles, and rock bars. Suckers were proving very effective before the warm up, and will soon be the hot ticket again. But for now, Bucher Depthraiders and Giant 10" Plastic Tubes have been working great along with Hellhound Glide Baits. Bulldawgs and Super D's have been landing some nice Muskie as well. Large Bluegills are still coming in the shop, some even mount worthy!! Fish along the weed edges and in deeper wood structure for these slab gills, they are really meaty right now!! Leaf worms, baby crawlers, and artificial Gulp Alive baits have been working awesomely!!!! Well, thats all for now. Stop back soon for another much needed fishing report!!!
